And I, brethren, when I came to you,
came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom,
declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I
determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus
Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in
weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my
speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of
man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of
power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of
men, but in the power of God. (1 Cor 2: 1-5)

Christians not
listening to God
America is
in serious trouble and it is up to Christians to stand
up and make a difference. The family of Jesus is not
growing in our country. Members of one church leave to
go across the street because the preacher said something
they don't like. Others leave because another member
hurt their feelings. For hundreds of years many books
and articles have been written to help believers of
Jesus spread the Gospel. We have failed. The Bible has
been translated into a dozen or so easy-to-read formats
and yet, Christians will not do what God expects of
us.
they are going to
Hell if we do not do something
God puts people in our lives almost
everyday and we are letting them go to Hell. We will not
show them the love of Jesus. We buy the books, read the
articles, and then we sit on our tails and discuss them
in a Bible study. Preachers and Christian authors are
spreading a "feel-good-message". The preacher does not
want his members to leave so he will not tell the people
what they need to hear. The authors want to sell books
so they are leaving out vital areas of
truth.
accountability is a
key
Christians must begin making daily
choices to stand up for what is right. We will only
begin to fulfill God's instructions to us when we learn
to hold each other accountable. Christians do not have a
problem learning but we do have a problem of applying
what we have learned.
tell me I am
wrong
We are training new Christians, if
any, to act just like us-slothful. Look at the newspaper
and tell me I am wrong. Check the statistics of new
born-again believers and tell me I am wrong. Look at
laws we have allowed the Supreme Court to initiate or
change and tell me I am wrong. Look in the mirror and
tell me I am wrong. We might be doing a few things right
but they are far outweighed by
slothfulness.
stepping on
toes
I love you. If I have stepped on your
toes then please, get in touch with me and I will wash your
feet. Jesus washed the feet of the ones he loved-even
the one who led the killers to Him. If we do not change,
and it must be done quickly, then God will not have any
choice but to take matters upon Himself.
will God destroy
life again?
And God saw that the wickedness of
man was great in the earth, and that every imagination
of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And the LORD was sorry that he had made man on the
earth, and it grieved him to his heart. And the LORD
said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the
face of the earth . . . for I am sorry that I have made
them.(Genesis 6:5-7)

is right
